Born on American soil and raised in the heart of Africa, I’m a multidisciplinary art director, self-proclaimed storyteller, and budding artist. By day I shape and direct brand stories; my personal work explores nostalgia, fatherhood, and joy, always with a dash of whimsy. Through bold color, dynamic shapes, expressive type, and playful motion, I craft visual narratives meant to inspire and scratch that familiar itch for something refreshingly new — forever a student of the craft, trying to blur the line between what we call design and what we revere as art.
My first real job was building offshore assets: vessels, ROVs, things where roughly right is the same as wrong. Architectural visualisation came next, then years of product renders — making bottles and jars for L’Oréal and Coca-Cola look real enough to sell. Somewhere in the middle of that I worked out the modelling wasn’t the part I loved. Deciding what the thing should say — that was the part.
So I moved toward direction. I led a team of designers and illustrators for the first time in 2020, spent a couple of years on campaigns and TV concepts, then went deep into motion for live events across the UAE — TDRA, TAQA, Masdar. Screens the size of buildings and no second take. That work taught me more about pressure and precision than anything before it.
Now I lead the design team at Create Nation, where the work runs from identity to social to advertising. A lot of my time goes to the unglamorous half of the job — building systems and AI-assisted workflows so the team can move fast without the quality sliding. The rest of it I’m still a 3D artist who makes posters nobody asked for.
